Hi, I’m new here but I was under the impression that I would receive notifications would come in real-time but it seems that the items being published can be published as much as half an hour before I receive a notification.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
The iOS notifications are real-time if the feed supports real-time WebSub, which pushes stories to NewsBlur as they are published. If not, then NewsBlur fetches them nearly continuously. You can see how often a feed is fetched (or if it is real-time) by right-clicking on the feed title and loading Statistics. This now works on mobile as well.
