Love the new redesign. One thing I continue to run in to are the tap targets in iOS for the check-mark mark all as read when you’re visiting a site’s feed. It’s one of my most commonly used buttons and it’s too small.
I think I see why you did it, to align with the magnifying glass and some other text, but it’s very small. It’s also immediately under a much larger, and (in my opinion) much less frequently used, settings gear.
I’d propose adjusting the sizes there so the mark all as read tap target is bigger and the settings gear is less prominent.
This feedback came up during the TestFlight and I made the button wider. It should have nearly the same size tap target. I can extend the “logical” button area vertically, so while the button wouldn’t look bigger, the tap target would stretch top to bottom. That may help.
May I ask, are you finding it difficult to tap reliably?
I’m able to tap the button but it’s not without “fear” of tapping settings instead. Rather than the button being something automatic, that just works without cognitive load, I find myself mentally focusing to make sure I don’t unintentionally tap on settings. If that makes any sense.
