When I check my news in the iOS app, I always do as described below. I think this should be happening automatically:
- I check for new articles (screenshot 1)
- I read all of them, when coming to the last one I tap on “Done” (screenshot 2)
- I then get the start screen as seen in screenshot 3
- After getting there, I always pull-down to refresh
I think it would be better if either
a) the start screen was automatically cleaned up (to look like screenshot 4)
or
b) an automatic refresh is triggered and new stories are immediately displayed.
I personally would prefer a)
