In-text "Continue Reading" link seems to go to a broken page

I’m unsure if this is a NewsBlur thing or a feedburner thing (or a Verge thing).

Feeds like The Verge have a Continue Reading link in the story text after the teaser.

Clicking that in-text Continue Reading has for about a week taken me to a general info page about FeedBurner.

http://feeds.feedburner.com///www.the…

This seems to vary - today it looks like an RSS feed, but yesterday it was a generic “hey you know FeedBurner’s great for RSS feeds and stuff” type page, which was a bit odd.

The Story title works fine, but goes to a different location:
http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/WinRum…

I *think* I’ve seen this with more than just The Verge, but I might be wrong on that (i.e. could be FeedBurner sites rather than just Verge.)

Just mentioning it in case it’s a NewsBlur thing.

Otherwise, just renewed and subscribed! Newsblur is a fantastic service, thank you for everything, Samuel!

Bit more info:

I’m subscribed to: http://feeds.feedburner.com/winrumors and when I view that feed in a browser, the links look like they’re going to the right place.

Some interesting escaped html includes the link; unsure how that ends up being translated/scrubbed/etc

Microsoft has invited members of the press to a[http://www.theverge.com/2014/5/5/5685…](<a href=); “small gathering” on May 20th for an event focused on Surface. The “small” part of the teaser invite appears to be an obvious hint at an upcoming Surface mini tablet. Details on a smaller Surface first emerged more than a year ago, but recent reports suggest Microsoft delayed the tablet over fears production could limit its availability. So that’s interesting!

Ah - as a note, when I pasted that, it was the textual version (eg, left-angle-bracket p right-angle-bracket was & lt ; p & gt ; above in the escaped html)

When I click on the Continue Reading link for The Verge I get taken to a link like so:

http://www.theverge.com/rss///www.the…

Which does not work.

Clicking on the Headline Link takes me to the correct URL:

www.theverge.com/2014/5/20/5734306/oc…

I am also experiencing this issue.

The “continue reading” link for an item from the www.theverge.com/rss/index.xml feed is being rendered as follows (e.g.)

http://www.theverge.com/rss///www.the…

leading to a 404.

Their feed has broken links. The easiest fix is to subscribe to the Full Text feed: https://www.newsblur.com/site/1039257…

Samuel - the continue reading link in your post is also broken.

its the link in the rss at the bottom of each post labeled “continue reading”

still tag direct from their rss on the related story…

since / = “/”
this translates to http://www.theverge.com/2014/6/10/579…

which looks pretty normal to me?
