I was an avid google reader sharer and typically “saved” my articles by sharing them. When Google turned off that functionality, I found a Greasemonkey script that brought it back so I could keep sharing which of course I did. Now that reader is going away for good, I am very happy to have found NewsBlur (frankly I wish I had found it earlier).
One of the things I would love to do however is import my shared items json into newsblur so I have them going forward. I would hate to lose all these items when I move over to NewsBlur. I see a lot of people asking to import starred items so I figured i’d ask if the Shared ones are similar.
