I got Reddit feeds to work again

While using the Desktop version of Newsblur right-click and select Site Settings, then in the section “Change RSS Feed Address” instead of using "www
’ in the reddit URL add “old” instead, then click the "Parse this RSS/XML feed"button. For example, https://www.reddit.com/r/workreform/.rss is the old not working feed address. Change it to https://old.reddit.com/r/workreform/.rss.

I am not sure how long this will work or if Reddit will make some change that is seems they made to the regular feeds but this is what works for me right now.

Thanks!
This worked for me.

This will work until such time as enough people do it, and newsblur gets banned, again.

We need a real solution from Sam

Or, we need to find ways to get personal feeds that newsblur does not hit. Personally, I’m going to set up timer units to copy the feeds into a webspace I control, instead.

jsled: Can you send out and RRS feed from that webspace we can use?

If NB gets banned by IP, why not just let people to setup own proxies for RSS crawling? I can download those .rss from tor connection though, that can be useful too.
Scrapers always win regardless of protection level, as long as normal users can access data.
Also there’s 3rd party and selfhosted reddit2rss gateways.
