There is no menu behind the little cog icon on the lower left.
In addition, I find it offensive that I have to sign up for a third-party service simply to post a “delete account” request.

Click the cog, then account, then delete all.
If the menu isn’t showing, try a different browser? What browser are you currently using?
If your account is now free, then why do you want to delete? If you never log in, then what difference does it make?
To answer the last two questions…
Maybe they just don’t like having errant accounts around, free or not, frequently signing in or not - I know that’s the way I am. If I don’t sign in to a site, don’t visit it, I don’t want an account there existing. Seriously.
It irritates me that there is absolutely no way to get rid of a particular account for a meal planning website, and my account is free. It’s because I hate getting the comments on recipes I’ve rated, and YES, I have changed settings so that I am not supposed to be receiving said comments.
I still get them.
I don’t want to.
The manage menu should show in all supported browsers (firefox, safari, chrome, ie9+). From there go to Account.
