How can I configure how long unread items are kept?

I’m using Newsblur on Android with Premium subscription and I noticed that Newsblur keeps unread items for some feeds only a day or so whereas for others I have them for multiple weeks.

How can I configure retention?
And is it possible to configure how many unread items are kept (something like aFIFO queue for items)?

Thank you?

PS: I love Newsblur - great work!

If you have a premium subscription items should remain unread for 30 days (from their publish date). Nothing to configure.

I think there has also been a limit on the number of items saved for a feed since I’ve seen items go unread before 30 days in some high volume feeds. Don’t think that limit exist anymore since the archive tier is a thing now, either way, for this to be an issue in a matter of days there would have to be hundreds of new items every day in the feed.

One example is a feed I created for hackernews and yes there are lots of items per day (but not more than 100). But the unread count always stops at 200 and older items are no longer visible, so if I check in after 3 days there is a good chance I miss items.
