I have a question. I would like to track the RSS feeds of US federal courts. The courts themselves, however, offer little in the way of choice: You either get everything or you get nothing. So you can get hundreds of documents every day that are difficult or impossible to sort through.
What’s the best way to filter the feed so, for instance, I only get something with the title “USA v.” or something with the text “indictment”?
within individual feeds, you can train on titles, authors, and tags. you have to rely on the feed provider to include that information, so if the court feed is very stripped down you may only have titles to work with. hit t for train while you have an example story open that has some data you want to include or exclude and thumbs-up or thumbs-down the relevant word or phrase in the title.
