Hide feed to show up on dashboard and all stories

I want to hide feed so that it can only show up on after i selecting it not want it to show up on all stories or on dashboard?

How to do that?

Muting a feed is the way to do it. You can still search for it (hit ‘g’ and then type its name) and it’ll show up under All in the All/Unread/Focus control. But it’s unread count will not contribute to your total unread count.

So it will get updated but just won’t show up on my dashboard and all stories & also those unread count won’t get counted for my other total read count , right?
