I’m trying to set up auto-forwarding in gmail for email newsletters but the verification email is not appearing in NewsBlur. A Newsletter folder is being created with a Gmail Team site (see attached), but the feed is empty even after refreshing for ~1 hour.
I’ve successfully manually forwarded an email from Gmail to the NewsBlur forwarding email address, so not sure what the issue is here. I would appreciate any help.
No it should show up near real time, like 5-10 seconds after sending. What’s your email/username, I can take a look at the logs and see what happened and if it’s even coming through.

Well that’s strange, I don’t see the email in improvmx (our mail server). Can you confirm the email is the same one from the Manage > Newsletters dialog?
And just to confirm, you can forward email directly to your newsletters.newsblur.com address, but the gmail auto-forwarder won’t send the verification email? When did you send it? We have 5 days of logs and I don’t see your username or email in them, but it’s a new mail receiving service, so it’s possible I’m not using it right. Any clues would help!
Confirming the email is the same one from the Manage > Email Newsletters location. I deleted the Gmail Team site and had Google resend the verification email. The Gmail Team Site appeared again in NewsBlur but remains empty.
I manually forwarded an initial test email at 9:37 AM to my email newsletter email and another one at 5:56 PM, both of which were received and displayed in my NewsBlur feed.
That’s curious, you have a Gmail verification “feed” but it has no stories.
Yea… any advice on how I can see that email? Given the creation of the Gmail team feed it means something has to be happening, right?
I suspect there was a bug on the NewsBlur side that was stripping the email and failing. I believe it’s a missing body, but…
And I found the bug and fixed it four days ago but forgot to post on here. Try now!
