I’m not exactly sure how to describe this, however there have been several times when I’m using the site on my laptop (or any trackpad), and somehow I will scroll right and weird text will show up on the right.

Hmm, I can’t seem to find anything wrong with that screenshot except for the overly-narrow center story titles pane, which is cutting off the story titles and creating a weird line of text. To fix that, just widen the story titles pane (you can drag-and-drop the dividing bar). Additionally, you can move that story titles pane to the top or bottom in Preferences.
If that’s not the issue, I’d love to fix whatever it is.
