Hello! Just an annoyance really, but on Firefox on my Ubuntu desktop when selecting a folder it only loads about 2/3 of the articles, so when you get to the end of the folder feed, you have to click on the folder again to load the missed articles and go back through the folder feed again. Didn’t know if there was a fix for this, but didn’t find one on the forums. Thank you!
Happy to take a look. What’s your username and what’s the folder title?
Thank you! It’s HoboJoeJunkpan and seems like it affects all of them but definitely always happens to Newsletters when I haven’t checked it in a while and there are a decent number of articles.
Looks like I just broke this last week when I moved from a cached list to a lazy merge for the folder river. It reduced processing on the redis story db, but it’s clear it needs some rework. I’ll get that done today!
Oh and thanks for your DM’d video, that helped a ton.
Thanks for looking into it and glad the video helped. Figured it might be hard to recreate. Have a great day!
Good news! I identified the issue, I fixed it, and I’ve just deployed it, and I can confirm that it is now working. If you notice this happening again, please, please, please let me know.
For anybody wondering, this was an issue for the past week and a half after launching a revised folder paging algorithm.
