navigator.registerContentHandler() was removed in Firefox 62.

you can try changing the keys in about:config

I tried this (in many permutations) and was unable to get this to work. Clicking a feed link in my browser now does nothing but leaves an entry in the console of: “Navigated to https://perso.pw/openbsd-current.xml” while remaining on the current page. https://dataswamp.org/~solene/2018-08-30-openbsd-rss-current.html
