I’m subscribed to at least one feed that posts items in both English and Spanish. I don’t speak Spanish so I’d like to filter out the (to me) unreadable articles based on language. Unfortunately the feed doesn’t tag their articles by language, so it’s not really doable with the current filtering tools.
I know there are several web-based tools that will examine a passage of text and determine what language it’s written in. What if NewsBlur could use something like this to allow us to filter items based on their language?
