On my desktop (Firefox) the time displayed on articles is showing approximately five hours in the past, however normal using the mobile client.
Well wouldn’t you know it as I was just in this code. I bet what’s happening is that your time zone is set to the wrong time. Check on the web under Manage > Preferences and see if that fixes it.
Oh wait, that would be backwards. That will change your mobile client and not the website. The website is based on your computers local time.
Try saving a story and reloading the feed. The saved story date is based on the server. So the dates may be different.
Thanks for the insight! Digging further into this, it seems like my desktop is not pulling in the most recent feeds (time stand is actually correct, but it’s just really slow at updating). Unable to replicate using a different browser so appears to be plugin/cache related.
