Feed marking new items as updated items instead

I tried emailing you yesterday and it bounced back earlier so I figured I would put this here. I just started using Newsblur and one of the feeds I follow is Girl Genius (http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/ggmai…). The issue is that when a new post comes up it gets marked as an updated old post. for example, the post for today, “The Girl Genius comic for Monday, March 18, 2013 has been posted” got marked as an update of Monday, March 11th post.

I’m hoping there’s an easy fix you can put in but understand that’s not always the case. Hopefully the fact that the GUIDs are different between the two items helps. If you have any questions for me let me know.

I got a reply to an email I sent to Samuel. He said the issue is that the posts are 98% the same which is triggering Newsblur to say it’s an update. I raised up an option that will hopefully work to tell the posts apart but we’ll see what he says about whether or not that will work.
