Feed for The Verge is very laggy lately

Over the past maybe 2-3 weeks I have noticed that newsblur is super laggy, especially when viewing the feed for The Verge (NewsBlur)

Moving my mouse around and hovering or clicking on items is very laggy, there are a lot of frames being dropped etc. This is using Chrome on an M3 Max with 36GB of RAM so it should be blazing fast (and it has been for years).

I took a performance trace in Chrome of me hovering over a few stories and then opening one. We can see there are some massive delays, the longest frame took over 580ms!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I launched the discover feature a few weeks ago and with it came a whole lot of front end changes and enhancements. Well it looks like I need to get the profiler out and figure out what changed. I’ll try and get to this this week.

You know what would help immensely would be to see a screenshot, that helps narrow down your view settings. You can crop out the user specific feed list, I just want to see which views you’re using.
