Every feed I add ends up with this error

There was a problem trying to add this site. Please try a different URL.

But after this error, the feed seems to populate. I am a new (premium) user and I have a hard time trying to undesrtand how that product actually works. The UX is not very intuitive. Am I alone ?

I have tried addind many feeds, and most of the time they end up never refreshing. The “focus” butron doies not seems to work at all either, I taught it was suppose dto highlight feeds I “like”, makes absolutely no difference.

Is there some introductory userguide for newblur that does not take 2 hours to read or look at ?

yeah agree. I think it would help if newsblur gave us more insight on how the feed updating works. it has a mind of its own :upside_down_face:. feeds do take a long time to show updates in newsblur even though the feed itself has new content. but then it just starts randomly showing everything all at once… its weird for sure

To answer your question about guides, we do have an FAQ that answers your questions about focus/hidden training. It’s at Frequently Asked Questions

As for feeds updating, you can right click on a feed title and open Statistics to learn how often it’s being fetched and to see any issues.

As for a misbehaving feed, can you share the url so I can take a look?

Here is an exemple of feed:

When I enter this, I see a list of “options” popup, it look like I can then click on some “subfeeds” to filter. But it does not work.

I’m not really familliar with RSS’ the only reason I paid for newsblur is that I wanted some sort of news reader where I could fliter out all the subjets that annoy me (Mainly certain politicians or social trends we see everywhere).

So far, I have had mixed results.
