Enlarge Image on IOS?

On IOS, how do I enlarge an image in an article? I have tried the “typical” pinch and zoom gesture but it doesn’t work consistently

Long press on the image. That’ll let you zoom.

Interesting - your suggestion works on other feeds, but this one https://comiccaster.xyz/rss/calvinandhobbes (and other comiccaster feeds) has trouble. Is there anything different about these, or maybe it’s due to the short and wide image (comic strip)?
