On September 1st, the Deadspin feed reset and lost all my unread and focus stories. It’s been tracking correctly since then. We’ve seen this before when the feed merged, but I’d like to get at least the focus stories back. Is there a way to do that, or be informed when a feed gets merged?

Not sure what happened but NewsBlur automatically manages read counts and training when merging feeds. In the case of http://www.newsblur.com/site/6783626/deadspin it looks like the feed Url changed and everybody got moved over. It’s probably a one-time thing.
Is there any way to get the lost unread/focus items back? Not that Deadspin produces anything particularly important, but it would be nice. Is there a way to be informed when a feed gets merged like this? Maybe with a copy of the items in the feed before merge?
