I have a premium archive subscription with daily briefings enabled. It says it’s generated my daily briefings (“yesterday; 18 stories”), but clicking on any of the generated daily briefings does not hydrate any view with the content, nor show a popup, nor open a details view, or similar.
This is in Microsoft Edge, Windows 11, with all plugins and blocker/tracker blocking disabled.
Hmm, that’s odd. What’s the url the email story title points to? It should have the story hash built in, in which case, newsblur should be loading that story on web load.
Forgive me, I’m referring to the Daily Briefing section in the webb app. 
I can access it without issue via the Android App as well.
Oddly, I don’t see an email or android notification indicating that the daily briefing had been compiled. Mysterious!
I’m pretty handly with devtools; is there console output or a code element snippet that I could provide?
A screenshot would be helpful, if anything so I can track down the wording in the digest
Just thought I’d circle back on this one. I want the daily briefing twice a day (if it matters, I’m a premium member), and it never generates. I have to manually do it. Also, when I click an article, it just brings up a new tab that redirects back to the briefing I looked at.
Daily Briefings are a Premium Archive feature, but the app never tells you that, and that gap is causing both problems you’re seeing.
Scheduled briefings only run for Premium Archive accounts, so the twice daily setting on your premium account never fires. Same story with clicking: on a premium account each briefing only unlocks its first 3 stories, so clicking any story link past those opens a tab with nothing to show and you land right back on the briefing.
I’m shipping a fix that makes this clear. The briefing view, the settings, and the setup screen now say that automatic briefings and the full story list require Premium Archive, and clicking a locked story shows the upgrade dialog instead of doing nothing. The small arrow icon next to each story title still takes you straight to the article on the publisher’s site.
