It would be great if we could customize the swipe actions in iOS. My issue is that I think that swiping from left to right on a story should mark it as read . in most other iOS apps, such as messages and email swiping from Left to right marks an item as read. But in the news blur app, this is reversed.
We used to be able to let you change those actions. Does anybody else want to customize swipes beyond the options we already have? @Dejal How hard would it be to customize these? Claude Code would do a great job creating a nice gesture customizer UI for this
It wouldn’t be particularly difficult; we’d just need some UI in Settings for the swipe options, then use those when preparing the swipe actions.
