Any chance of creating a content block filter? I follow local news feeds, but I couldn’t care less about The Sports Game last week, nor do I want to read empty-headed opinion columns or letters to the editor.

I like to keep a pulse on what’s going on right here, right now. That’s something Newsblur has rapidly become my sanctuary for. And the ability to refine all internet content to that level would be divine.

I realize there’s a thumbs down button. That’s not a filter. I don’t want to ask for less salty flavor next time. I want to tell it to hold the cheese.

That sounds more like an algorithm than a content filter. I did just launch a content filter on full text content, but that requires you to be explicit about what you want to hide.

Doesn’t have to go even that far. Though I may be requesting something you’ve already got, and have a raging case of user error. It can be as simple as a filter blocking all posts with titles containing ‘Comment:’ or ‘volleyball’ etc.
