Comment reply in iOS is ... weird.

Some strangeness I noted in comment replies on iOS today:

  1. Replying to someone else’s existing comment on a story actually adds a new top-level share-and-comment, rather than replying.

  2. Replying to your own comment (or replies to your own comments) edits your original comment, rather than posting a reply to that comment.

Congrats on being the first to report this. I see it every so often but always forget to go fix it. Ping me if this isn’t fixed soon.
