can't subscribe to rss url from android app

I’m trying to subscribe to a feed with the android app by going to “Add new feed” from the menu. I am prompted to search for a feed but in my case I want to specify the URL. If I give the url it instead proceeds to search for similar feeds but doesn’t give me the option to add the specific url.

I know, it’s a limitation. A fix is planned.
