Heh, yeah, you just discovered my way of punting on that feature. You can’t read saved stories offline just yet, so I put that message in front of it for now. I’ll get to offline saved stories eventually, just has to be a high enough priority.
I’m really looking forward to offline support for saved stories.
However this overlay is also a problem when you’re in a poor connection as it forces you do one refresh, which is very slow, in order to update that main page just to get rid of that banner, so that you can then manage to click on saved stories and load the data you’re actually interested in.
I’d like to not only be able to read saved stories, but also save stories when offline. Newsblur currently does not let me do this.
