I am sure when i added other sites this worked but maybe i am doing it wrong. When i add it i get a message saying
“This address does not point to an RSS feed or a website with an RSS feed.”

OK, that’s a workaround (find out youtube-ID, place it after the equality sign). But something’s wrong, so Sam should take notice.
The problem is that Google changed its API. Sam has definitely taken notice. See this thread:

but apparently something happened in the meantime so “just enter in the URL…” is not working any more.
