I was able to do a google news search but I was getting content I did not want, I attempted to add negative kewords but in this case I wasn’t certain whether I should be updating the RSS Feed address or the website address. Regardless of which I test, when I hit the refresh button, the button stays grey but the loading button just hangs next to the dropdown with the site name, I waited probably more than 5 minutes.
When I click away and come back, the updates were not saved.
Hmm, I just tested this by changing one of my google news searches and it worked fine. It even renamed itself to the correct search query. I changed the RSS feed address’ q= string. What did you change exactly?
I right click and go to Site Settings.
query currently ends with OR+%22CH-148%22
and I attempted to add a negative query
)%20-hockey because of course Hockey..
aaaaand this time it worked.
