Is there a way to side load the android app onto the Kindle? Amazon doesn’t play well with the Google play store

Here is an alternative app store for Android devices: http://f-droid.org/

It only includes Free and Open Source Software, which includes the newsblur client. However, I have never used F-Droid on a Kindle, so I’m not quite sure if it will work for you.
