I would like to add a whole of feeds to my blurblog, rather than individual items, can I do that? I want use it for a public URL feed

That’s a whole kettle of fish and I’m afraid that won’t be supported anytime soon. It’s a pretty complicated move, even though I can see the utility in doing so.
