It seems that the bookmarklet is not working for me any more on certain sites. Specifically youtube and vimeo. It used to be a bit odd on youtube but would work if you selected content. It seems that no matter what I do I can not get it to pick up any content to share. It is not limited to these sites (in fact it seems that a majority of sites no longer pick up content even if I select text/images etc).
Notes: Using Firefox 25.0.1 on windows 7

If anybody want to paste the developer console output, Iâd love to take a look. Donât forget to also include the original website URL where it doesnât work. It doesnât always work since itâs embedding itself directly on to a page, where there is loads of javascript that may be hostile. But I try to work around broken embeds.

Ohh, I think its a https to http connection. What happened is that youâre on a website with https but you installed the bookmarklet at http://www.newsblur.com (and not https). Iâm going to correct the bookmarklet right now, but you will have to reinstall it for it to work. It sucks that this is only discovered now, when Chrome and Firefox both disallow mixed content (viewing content from http when on https).
To reiterate, reinstalling the bookmarklet (Manage > Goodies > bookmarklet) will fix the issue.
I am on the HTTPS version now but still no sharing from HONY⌠(link above)

any updates? I can give you a few more example sites. but this is driving me crazy, not being able to use the bookmarklet.
Iâm having the same problem. Reinstalled the bookmarklet and still clicking âshareâ does nothing. (on youtube and other sites)

Try re-adding the bookmarklet from the goodies section in the lower left, I did this and it resolved my issues. Samuel mentioned fixing the bookmarklet on twitter.

I had that issue. Check your adblock filters.
