Some blogs only get the sidebar content (rather than the article text) when reading in the “All site stories” view; sometimes this works when I view each blog’s content individually (selecting it from the left-hand menu), but sometimes I have to click right through to the blog itself because images or blockquotes are missing. This started happening in around December but seems to be getting worse and weirder by the week.

That’s up to the publisher. I have a Text view which extracts the story content, but that’s nondeterministic and highly variable.
