In general, I don’t get to everything I want to read in a day, and I start each new day by marking everything more than a day old as read–to avoid my queue from getting crowded. Ideally, I’d like to have this done automatically. I’m imagining an option under Preferences which would allow me to “auto-purge” items that are older than 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, or 14 days (the same intervals offered when doing this manually).
