Auto Mark as Read stops working after updating Intelligence Trainer

Here’s my setup:

  • Device: Samsung Galaxy S23
  • OS: Android 13

These are the relevant Newsblur settings:

  • Story order [oldest]
  • Read story filter [Unread only]
  • Mark story titles read on scroll [checked]
  • Content preview text [Title only (none)]
  • Image preview thumbnails [Left-hand large]

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a feed
  2. Select an article to view
  3. Click on the menu to access Intelligence Trainer
  4. Select a tag to upvote or downvote
  5. Save
  6. Scroll the feed

Expected outcome:

  • Articles are marked as read upon scrolling

Actual outcome:

  • Articles are not marked as read upon scrolling. To restore correct functionality, I have to exit the feed and reopen it.
