When I’m reading an article in Text-mode on my iPhone, it happens a lot that he suddenly opens the web-view of the article when I don’t do anything besides scroll. It’s very irritating.

You’re probably double tapping. You can disable this gesture under Preferences.

No need to apologize. I use threads like this to evaluate whether I should invest time into making gestures more obvious. I agree that they can be mysterious.
