Hi,
After being installed for a month or so, newsblur stops notifying me of new stories. For example, I follow the xkcd feed, and the newsblur android app hasn’t notified me of any new stories in weeks, yet if I go to the xkcd website, there have been a number of new strips posted in this time.
This has happened on 3 separate devices now (Nexus 4, Sony Z1 Compact, Sony Z3 Compact)
Clearing the cache doesn’t seem to fix it, but sometimes a complete uninstall and reinstall does. Any ideas?
P.s. the issue is across all feeds, not just xkcd.

This sounds similar to the other Android problem listed
Which other problem? There was another problem yesterday, but that had to do with actual downtime. This seems different.
Do you see the new stories when you load your account on the web? Do the stories suddenly show up there and then later on Android?
The web interface works fine for me but the Android app does not load any new stories on the index. If I save a story on the web app and then refresh my saved items on the app then I can see them that way but still not from the index
Hi, thanks all for the responses. In my case, I see ‘On its way’ followed by ‘storing unread stories’. The story counters don’t update. With regard to logging in via the web, I’m rarely at a PC, so don’t really log in via a browser at all. Next time I’m at a computer I’ll give it a go and update the thread, but that will be tomorrow at the earliest.
Logging out and back in fixed it for me. It reset all my preferences as well. Thanks.
Well, I’ve just logged in via my phone browser, and used ‘Request Desktop Site’ which hopefully gives me what I would see at a PC. I’m now less certain as to what’s going on. I can’t find xkcd (my example) listed as a registered feed, but I’m certain I haven’t manually unsubscribed. Looking at my other subscriptions, I’m not sure how many of them have actually updated in the past couple of days, so this might be a specific feed issue rather than a case of the whole app giving up.
