Android: Hard to log in with dark mode

After using NewsBlur from my PC since 2013, I finally decided to try the Android app. Logging in was difficult for two reasons:

1. I was able enter my user name OK, but in dark mode, which my device is set to, there was no visible outline around the password box, so I couldn’t figure out where to tap to enter my password. After switching the device to light mode, I was finally able to log on.
2. I couldn’t find a way to make the password display as I was typing it in. I have a long, random password, so I had to type it in very slowly to make sure I got it right.

After login, the rest of the app seems to work OK after going back to dark mode.

I have an old Samsung phone running Android 11.

Could you share a picture from your phone with dark mode on the login screen? This is what I expect you to see.

At the moment there is no way to show the password in plain text. That could be added in easily.
