Hi! Over the past week or so, the app gets stuck on fetching new stories and refuses to load any content (new or old) until it is exited and reopened. This seems to be happening every time I open the app now, any advice?

Honestly, I have no idea why this is happening but I’d be interested to see what happens if you uninstall the app and reinstall it. If that works please let me know! And if it doesn’t, then also let me know.
I’ve seen this happen twice this week on my end too. Haven’t figured out yet why. Since you (OP) are using a non-beta version of the app that has been released a while ago, this intrigues me even more.
Update: the issue did not improve with a reinstall, but I enabled “Download Stories” and “Download Images” which seems to prevent a total freeze when it’s fetching fresh stories. I also changed my cache from 30 to 2 days. Thanks for the support!
