Dear newsblur
Some time I use my sattlite network for loading my feed throw your app but this kind of network is extremely expensive,I pay 7USD for MB.for this cause I’ll be happy to have any option to deactive showing images with your app,but I couldn’t find a way to do that with your app then I decided to tell you about this,and ask you if it’s possible to you create this option in app settings in future versions for users like me.I like newsblur and I hope getting better day by day.thank you so much…

Are you ever on an unmetered/free network?  If you enable ‘Offline’ prefetch of stories and images while on the unmetered network, it will use the cached images when you read, saving a good deal of bandwidth.

Alternatively, yeah, I have considered a disable-all-media option for when bandwidth is crazy expensive and there is no way to prefetch.  If enough people want this, it would be fairly easy to build.
