The “All Site Stories” pane at the bottom is useless to me (and borderline annoying). When I collapse it, it comes back next time I visit the page. I suggest making it’s state persist, and perhaps making it collapsed by default. I am an ex-Reader user, and I want simplicity. I just want to infinitely scroll my unread items. Thanks!

If your browser supports CSS overrides, you can remove it like so:
.NB-feeds-header-river-sites-container { display:none !important; }
Works like a charm for me (since I couldn’t agree more).

Good thought! I bet my adblocker can remove it, too. I hope they simplify the UI a bit. It’s visually noisy.
