All feeds stopped loading

A couple of days ago, my entire Newsblur went completely blank. The web version just shows this:

And the Android version just spins and nothing happens. There’s no error code that I can see.

What’s your username, it might be due to a broken feed list.

It’s because you have too many feeds. We no longer even allow you to upgrade with more than a couple thousand feeds. The other issues is that most of those feeds are erroring out on an rssbridge instance that is giving you a 403. I suggest removing those feeds using the Organizer (Manage > Organizer). You can use staging.newsblur.com temporarily to load your feed and pare them down.

I may have to write a routine to check how many feeds a user has because I’m learning that we just can’t handle more than a couple thousand.

I’m having the same issue. I am using the staging site to delete some feeds. It would help if I had some guidance as to how many feeds I’m supposed to delete?

Thank you. At this point I have lot of feeds I added years ago and don’t need anymore. I think it would be easier to delete everything and start clean. Is there a way to purge them all?

You can purge your feeds in Manage > Account > Delete all my feeds. You can also delete them in the Organizer, which should make quick work of a lot of feeds.

Deleting and reinstalling the iOS app worked for restarting my feeds working again.
