On the bottom of the page in feed view, there’s a count of unread items. As you scroll past them, it counts them away, but the unread count lights up and delights every time you scroll past an article, which is distracting.
Could we have an option to turn this off?

That’s worse! The lighting up and unlighting of the unread counts are rather distracting up top…
