64 feeds isn't enough to try the service out, for some of us anyway

Hey there. Would love to switch from Google Reader but as I have 880 feeds I’m reluctant to pay before I can see whether the app is performant with a lot of feeds. Is there any way you could raise my feed limit for a day or two to try it out?

I don’t work for or represent Newsblur, but I have ~500 feeds and it works fine. The service is what, $12 per year? Why not pay $12 and then complain if it doesn’t work for you?

There’s nothing more expensive than a free user; here’s commentary on problem of free users who don’t want to part with a few dollars:

Replied in email, but I’ll repost for everybody here:

900 feeds is no problem. We have a number of users with 1000+. Loading NewsBlur at first will take about 4-5 seconds, but then it’s quite speedy.

We don’t offer trials, but I’d be happy to offer a refund if you like. Soon I’ll build referrals and I would be happy to send you one (free year of premium), but that’s not quite baked yet.
