I have to say I’ve been impressed with the way Newsblur has bounced back after the initial crush from the Google Reader diaspora; it’s easily my favorite replacement (and I probably would have been using it sooner if I’d been aware of it). The interface combines the best parts of desktop readers (cf. FeedDemon) with most of the key features of Google Reader. I paid for a premium account when I found it, and am glad I did.

I’m ratcheting it up every day. It’s gotta hit 5MM to hit demand as it exists today. I’m hoping to hit that within a couple weeks.
When I was on Google Reader, I didn’t read much, don’t know why. This changed drastically with NewsBlur, I guess because of interface and Feed-Text-Story mode
