Web: : broken images served through image proxy

imageproxy breaks some feeds when using the web client. I noticed in another bug report that you disabled it for Android; you may need to do it for the web interface too. Or at least have an option to disable such URL hijacking.

Here’s the html for one such broken image:

<img alt="external_image" src="https://imageproxy.newsblur.com/sc,sA1UzpWsX1YXKGiHozi63bR51C7x8_JNHmggnRyasoMI=/http://www.kdca.go.kr/html/a3/namoimage/images/000033/Press_Release_(November17)001.png" style="border: 0px solid rgb(0, 0, 0); border-image: none; vertical-align: baseline;" title="external_image">

Trying to open that png directly works fine.

Well, it’s not disabled for Android, it’s just being used more judiciously. In your case, it would need to be used because it’s an http-only image and you’re on https. So the image wouldn’t load without the image proxy. Getting the image proxy fixed is the real solution.

What’s the https://newsblur.com/site/### url for the feed that this is from?

Thank you for the explanation.

The feed is https://www.newsblur.com/site/8020155/kdca

Just noticed it is now working so you must have fixed this issue. Thank you.

Yep, I fixed it a bit ago and posted in another support thread. Thanks for reporting this and let me know if it stops working.
