Using GetSatisfaction functionality

Searching and responding to problems and ideas would be far more useful if the available statuses (solved, worked on, under consideration, answered, etc.) were used.

There would be less replying to months-old threads, and would be easier for users to tell if their problems are widespread, being worked on, or should be solved.

That’s a lot more effort than I’m willing to put in. I try to handle support as it comes in, and I think people are free to comment on old tickets. If something is important enough, it either gets talked about often, or emailed to me.

Also, I don’t have access to any of those tools, as I’m not paying for GetSatisfaction. If I find I have the need to moderate, I may start doing so. But if I start tagging some threads, then I have to tag all of them because then an untagged thread is an implicit open, whereas now you can just read the thread and decide if it’s ongoing or not. Been working out great this way, in fact.
