Every so often, a spammy-in-my-opinion post shows up in The People Have Spoken. These posts are always boosted by the same accounts. I muted these accounts.
It would be nice if the client noticed that I long ago muted all the accounts boosting such a post; and then didn’t show me that post.
I noticed those spam posts as well. I accidentally broke the spam detector a few months ago, so they were coming in for a while. But I have a CAPTCHA on new account creation, so that’s been working well at keeping many spam accounts out.
Anyway, I removed all of the spam posts I could find and did my best at ensuring they stay off as well.
