UI / UX update

Hi,
I was looking for a RSS reader that I could use from my web browser.
Newsblur has all features that I need and an Android app that is available on F-Droid (privacy friendly).
I would be happy to subscribe for a premium account to support the development but the UI is outdated like the yellowish color on the side panels.
The same applies for the Android app.
Design is not always a priority but it’s very important on my end for such tools.

Do you plan to update the UI/UX?
Thank you.

Hey Primokorn, I spend a lot of time on design and am quite proud of NewsBlur’s theme. I also spent an inordinate amount of time on UX and believe that while NewsBlur is dense, it’s incredibly versatile for many types of flows. There is no UX redesign planned, and the UI was redesigned a few years ago: http://blog.newsblur.com/post/50689286246/the-newsblur-redesign

Actually it looks like Holo design instead of the modern Material Design.
However I understand your point of view.
Thanks for your answer.

Just to say that I was wrong. I’m getting used to the interface and I do appreciate all the features.
Consider the premium plan

Glad to hear that! I agree there is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to NewsBlur, it’s hard to look at any competing reader.
