When people do a multitweet, I’ll often get them out of order. It seems they are sorted by the minute, no “tighter” resolution than that. Twitter ids are monotonically increasing, so … I assume it’s possible to get them to sort in the right order.

Because of the nature of the twitter feed polling, you usually get such a tweetstorm in a batch, and can jump around between the items. But that they’re out of order in the first place is a bit of a drag, and does seem like an easy (albeit an ugly, in an “elegance is not a collection of special cases” sense) fix.
